Amanda is a personal injury lawyer who has dedicated her career to helping clients who have sustained serious injuries as a result of motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, defective products, and assault cases. With over 17 years experience in civil litigation, Amanda adeptly manages complex liability issues and catastrophic injury matters. Having joined Goodman Elbassiouni LLP in March of 2020, she brings valuable experience in accident benefit claims, bodily injury claims, and LTD claims. She has skillfully advocated for her clients before tribunals, WSIAT, provincial offences court, and the Superior Court of Justice.
Amanda graduated from Queen’s Law (LL.B.) in 2001. She taught legal administration courses at an Ontario College to aspiring legal assistants and law clerks. After completing her articles with a prominent downtown sole practitioner, she was called to the Ontario Bar in January of 2007. Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Amanda completed 4 years in the Political Science honours program at the University of Calgary. She is also the mother of three active children and enjoys travelling, sports, and spending time with her family.
